MEMORIAL FOR KIM'S
DOG STORM

Last updated 06-04-18

This puppy dog did not emit light of its own (it was a dog for Christ sakes!!!), so the standard review format will not be used and the doggo will not be assigned a rating. This page will contain mainly just thirteen photographs and some text (as of 06-03-18).

This cute little bundle of joy, Storm aka. Stormy was owned by Kim B. who is my downstairs housemate.

Kim loved the living tweedle out of her special (not-so-little) girl!!!

I say "was" and "loved" here because she passed over the Rainbow Bridge on the late-evening of 06-01-18.

Storm was in an extremely abusive and neglectful home for the first five years (she was 14 when she passed) of her life. The poor girl was never allowed indoors, and she was tethered to her outdoor doghouse on a six foot chain.

She was forced to "wade" in her own piss and $#!t every day for those five years simply because she was restricted by that damn six foot chain!
When she WAS bathed (probably to knock down the "poop" odour emenating from her fur) she was simply douched off with the garden hose! It's no wonder that she had an abject fear of water from any source -- the bathtub, the hose, even rain for God sakes!

And Lord only knows when she was fed and given clean water!

Fortunately for Stormy, an extremely loving and kind woman named Kim took her out of that horribly absusive and and neglectful situation and lovingly nursed her back to health.
Kim had Storm for at least eight years, and Storm became a very sweet and loving doggo!

This adorable doggo is Storm (well of course it is! Who else WOULD it be?)

This is her gravesite; Storm was buried in it by a close family friend.
Goodbye Storm. You'll sure be missed!!!

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge...

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they miss someone very special to them; who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of Storm, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

THEN YOU CROSS RAINBOW BRIDGE TOGETHER...
